DENVER, CO (September 22, 2017) — Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors (CBC Advisors), one of the leading commercial real estate services firms internationally, announced today that Andrea Ackerman has joined the firm as vice president in the Denver office.
“Andrea is a successful and recognized professional throughout the Denver area,” said Carlos Cain, managing director of CBC Advisors in Denver. “She is focused on and dedicated to the success of her clients and she takes pride in contributing to each organization’s success. She’s committed to a level of excellence and will be an outstanding asset to our firm as we seek to grow our operations and business in the Denver market.”
Ackerman has been a commercial real estate broker since 2006. Prior to joining CBC Advisors, Ackerman worked for Toma West Management Corp. and served as principal for A2 Real Estate. She specializes in landlord office brokerage, tenant representation, in-house leasing and negotiations as well as having experience in both retail and industrial brokerage. She has also represented clients in contract renewals servicing over one million square feet in properties.
Ackerman has placed in the top ten of the Colorado Real Estate Journal’s Heavy Hitters five years in a row in the “most revenue in a small office” category. In the November 15, 2013, issue of the Denver Business Journal, Ackerman was honored with a full-page spread under the category of “Making Their Mark” and with an article entitled “It’s not just a man’s world–Ackerman encourages women to enter Commercial Real Estate.”
“Although I enjoyed having my own company, I missed the challenge and excitement of a team, and collaboration in general,” said Ackerman. “I am so excited to be in an office full of potential. I am grateful to have a platform that is an Internationally recognized brand, but will also allow me to thrive in a hyper-local focused platform. I hope to bring high energy and a positive attitude and will continue to attract other talent and grow our team.”
Ackerman is heavily involved in the Denver community having been an active chairman, participant and member of multiple organizations including CREW, DMCAR and the Women’s Chamber of Commerce. She graduated from the 2016 Downtown Denver Partnership Leadership class and has served on the board of Excelsior Youth Center as secretary as well as serving as the current president of the board for Dress for Success, Denver.
